CELIAC DISEASE

Carolinas Research Associates and Dr. Fred Fowler are conducting a study for people with Celiac Disease. The purpose of this research study is to look at how effective and safe an investigational medication is when it is given to subjects who have active Celiac Disease.

The study will include people who are newly diagnosed with Celiac Disease, or previously diagnosed with Celiac Disease but who still have active disease. All participants will do a Gluten Free Diet during the trial.

You may qualify for the study if you:

• Are between the ages of 18 and 75
• Have been diagnosed with Celiac Disease
• Are willing to comply with a gluten free diet for the duration of the study
• If your overall health is generally good
